Position Overview: Moonkress Therapy and Consulting is seeking a highly-skilled and empathetic Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to adult individuals and will use therapeutic interventions aligned to each client’s needs and to the values of the private practice.

About: Moonkress Therapy and Consulting is a small psychotherapy practice located in Madison, WI. Moonkress Therapy and Consulting conducts all client-facing work via telehealth. The role will require in-person company meetings up to four times a month in the Madison area.

Reports to: Owner of practice/Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Duties/Responsibilities:

●      Perform clinical psychotherapy services via telehealth to clients of Moonkress as scheduled and in accordance with company policies.

●      Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are
binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Moonkress.

●      Respond to clients’ requests for service or calls in timeley manner whether such requests are made via email, phone, voicemail, etc. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such clients.

●      Communicate with a client’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as
necessary.

●      Maintain accurate and timely written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required by Moonkress or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the client.

●      Keep client files audit-ready.

●      Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by Moonkress.

●      Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the good will and reputation of Moonkress.

●      Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.

●      At minimum, maintain a caseload of at least 5 clients per week.

●      Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to sessions and meetings is required.

●      Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

●      Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and an active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LPC) in the State of Wisconsin. A copy of license must be provided to Moonkress.  A clinical license is highly preferred.

●      Must have an NPI number and an updated CAQH profile or a willingness to create both upon getting hired.

●      Align with Moonkress’s vision and values.

●      Must be punctual in reporting to sessions and meetings.

●      Be organized and detail-oriented.

●      Be willing to collaborate and engage on a team.

●      Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.

●      Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
